'Sunburst' is Still Maturing and 'Koi' is Coming

I have put the 'Sunburst' painting on the back burner and will probably just lighten the bottom left leaf before calling it finished. I don't intend to define the leaves up top further.


The 'Koi' is one of the paintings I did in a recent workshop. It needs a little more work like whether or not to have that third fish on the left of the other two stay a fish or change into a lily pad!

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the Koi painting in progress. I love this.

Yes, I love it too. It is lighter than the instructor was demonstrating but you know me, I like lots of light.
