Lei Rainbow Plumerias 22x30" Watercolor

I am revisiting one of my favorite plumeria varieties. Nebel's Rainbow is also known in Hawaii as Lei Rainbow because the blossoms are often used to make leis.  They are firm, last long, and don't bruise easily. I generally put the shadows in first before starting in on the colors.  The rainbow plumerias actually take longer to paint than the white Singapores because they require multiple layers of color. Of course, I have fewer flowers here than I had with the white "Plumerias in Paradise." I am showing you a darker photo so that you can make out the flowers.
