Cattleya - Starting Over

I was in the process of removing the Pebeo brand masking fluid off of the Saunders Waterford 300# rough watercolor paper.  It was a difficult, time-consuming process. I was also taking up a thin layer of the paper as I lifted the mask off in some areas.   So I am going to  start over and am switching to Arches 300# cold press paper which is a tougher paper.

Here it is with the Pebeo masking fluid drying. I tried to apply the fluid with cleaner edges this time.
